After a drizzly first practice the skies cleared and the track dried in plenty of time for the Competition Runs. With 38 new driver/car combinations there was a flurry of Personal Bests (PBs) established and then broken whilst 28 established PBs were also broken - surprisingly no class records were broken! Five drivers managed to be inside their old PB on each of the four competition runs, David Reid in his Impreza, Razvan Rosca in his BMW M4 who also consistently went sub 2 seconds for the first 64 foot, Alex Miles in his Caterham 7 Supersport, Shirley Hennessy in her Citroen 2CV Mod Prod, and finally Connor French in his Mod Prod Clio.
FTD went to Ian Rowlance in his Gould GR55B with a 40.41 second run. second FTD was set by John Munro in the family Force PT Busa with a 42.25 whilst Eve Whitehead was third FTD in the OMS 2000M in 44.32. Once again Liverpool MC put on a super event with two practice & four competition runs completed by 4 PM which gave competitors plenty of time to either head home or decamp to 3 Sisters for Sunday's sprint run by L&DMC.
