Many years ago, my mate and I took our aincient bike engined formula fords up the drag at Crail whilst evaluating the "drift ring" for possible sprint venue ( it didn't become one).

Just a reminder in case some people are not aware that non road classes will now need to wear a balaclava in Speed events.
Personally, the small extra cost for something that will last many years is no great expense. Apart from the safety aspect in helps geep the helmet fresh and clean
