Would expect so. So would need all the SL safety stuff.

As long as the block was fitted to that model, you're good. So you could fit any engine fitted by Peugeot to any 205 variant, anywhere in the world.

I suppose the rationale was 1C tyres are quicker & more track focussed (and more money) whereas 1A/B are more road focussed (and cheaper) - but is that true anymore ?
