Channel Island bounce

After a disasterous engine failure at Harewood Tom New had a race against time to install the spare engine into Wallace Menzies' Gould. Somehow when the car arrived in the far flung Channel Islands it was immediately on the pace. Two wins for Menzies at Bouley Bay started to close the gap to the top two as Hall & Ryder again battled for overall supremacy and emerged still tied for First place. Over to Guernsey and Wallace Menzies was dominant as he broke the hill record in each of the run-offs to close the gap to Ryder & Hall who again ended up tied. Menzies is now just six points in arrears to Hall & Ryder and is on a roll. Will this sparkling form continue at Wiscombe Park next week-end?
