Will anyone bet against Matt Ryder taking another title in 2026?
Wallace seemed to be back up to pace at the end of 25.
Alex Summers has a new car…. Which could shake things up.
Will Hall has had time to refine and fine tune the Gould, so sure to be a serious contender.
Can Alex Coles make a bike engine go any faster…?? …David Warburton brake any later? …Greenan’s be any more sideways?
I think an 1100 could scrape into the championship top 10 for a number at the end of the year? Weaver / Bickley / Warren ?

I don’t think an 1600 let alone an 1100 will get a number this year. Forced induction cars are arriving in droves!

No Sean in the car this year, so who knows how that'll affect things.
Wallace will be quick as ever, Alex's new car looks stunning..
I think it's about time Will won ;)

Plus some 1600s of course

Will looks to be driving really well so he is my bet but if Matt doesn’t have the worry/wear of a double driver that could help. Anyone have an entry for national prescott yet to see if Kenricks car is finished

It was good to see Wallace starting to get back on pace towards the end of last year. Gutted for Alex on the Friday at Shelsley. I think Matt will probably go 3 for 3 but I’d like to see Will get one.

It will be interesting to see how many forced induction cars end up in the top 10 this year. What you can get out of the kits can be absolutely mental. Alex Coles is going to be at the Gurston test day so it will be good to see what he gets on a green hill in it.

Having seen Wallace & Will at Harewood on Sunday I suspect Wallace will be triumphant this year.

As for the 1600cc cars mentioned earlier, there are possibilities for them to win a round or two but overall they cannot mount a serious championship challenge.

I think a lot will depends on tyres and the like. Getting out early has been great for some, to get used to tyres, are they different, are they the same.

I always felt last two years Wallace accident and the change of tyres affected his speed a little, Craigantlet was a very scary crash, you have to remember you have so little time to get used to any changes in a run. It is truly astonishing how quick these top guys go and have such faith in their tyres, no warmers remember, also amazing tech from Avon and others to make the tyres switch on almost instantly.

Matthew has pushed the envelope to a new level, his records are astonishing at Wiscombe, Prescott and Harewood, I still see him as the man to beat overall, but he does have tracks like Doune he is not so great at, so the window is open, but you have to be second everywhere if he is on it to stand a chance.

As for others. Alex Coles really deserves a crack in a big car soon, I hope the budget can be found or someone lets him have a pop in one, I think he is about as quick as it gets on a hill, almost Goodyear speed. Warbs for me is one the best guys out there, so smooth and fast, hugely committed too, that car is so well sorted, but overall just does not have the grunt to compete overall. Nice also to have guys like Bickley back after such a long wait. These guy can easily get top 10 if things go well.

I think tin tops might make a step this year too, fine work from the top guys and especially Damien who is tirelessly pushing this sport to all and sundry.

Saw some of the front runners today at Loton. Very impressed by Wallace, very fast and committed. Matt Ryder seemed to be warming up gradually and Will Hall was fast as you would expect. Some of the smaller cars also went very well, such as the blue Raptor (I forget the driver) and the astonishingly-yellow Force!

Should be a great season.

Well a great start to the year, a few cars missing which is a shame, but no shock with all that is going on in the world.

Some great drives, lovely to see Will win one today, very well deserved he looked the man to beat for me all day. Wallace and Matt as consistent as ever, you really are going to have be top three every run off to even get close to those two.

Other standouts for me were Harry Pick, really trying hard and starting to get some end result, some amazing driving from Alex in the small engined DJ that really was punching well above its weight.
